Signs and symptoms to discuss with a clinician
- Headache, dizziness, or imbalance that continues after an injury
- Memory, concentration, mood, or sleep changes
- Sensitivity to light or noise
- New weakness, numbness, speech difficulty, repeated vomiting, worsening confusion, or seizure — seek emergency care
Emergency symptoms: Call 911 for sudden severe symptoms, new one-sided weakness, trouble speaking, a first or prolonged seizure, severe head injury, sudden vision loss, chest pain with fainting, or any rapidly worsening condition.
